2020 is a year for change. We decided to do a new and improved MADE logo, we hope you like it, cause we surely do! 

What a special night this was. We had the pleasure of interviewing the very best, Freetown Collective Band. It was an authentic discussion that was inspiring to us all. Filled with genuine love, open-mindedness, and purity. We certainly did feel the love. 

The Wadada twins surely have style! These two girls are some of the best designers that Trinidad has and we hope we interviewed them looking as fabulous as they did!

A dedicated team making trods to appreciate and clean our environment in T&T.
We were lucky to have the honor of being able to Interview the founder of this amazing organization. Luke Pounder.

This week was a successful one!

We assisted students in learning: Econ Unit 2, Applied Math as well as Spanish!

Between an hour or two we were able to guide and teach what we could, to help those doing online schooling! We loved every second of it and can’t wait to help more.

We surely are making a difference from home!

Over the last few weeks, we have collected donations of canned items, hygiene products, non-perishable food items, clothes, toys, and much more. We are continuing to do so as much as we can, especially during this crisis, so that we can distribute to those in need. 

Today we cooked 101 boxes of Spaghetti and delicious meat sauce for those in need and, it sure did smell good! We cooked and packaged these boxes so that Living Waters could distribute too the different communities. We would like to thank Sacha and David Thompson for allowing us to assist and for providing all the flavourful ingredients. 

Today we had an online family friendly scavenger hunt! During this difficult pandemic, we wanted our volunteers, followers as well as our board members, to enjoy a safe, active, fun activity, right in the comfort of their home. With the 15 challenges that we provided, we know that people enjoyed it! We were grateful for those that participated and we know we can make a difference from home! 

Today was a fun day. We cooked two massive Iron Pots of Chicken Pelau filling 168 boxes to feed those in need. The steamy, flavourful, home-cooked meal was appreciated by many. Bringing fullness in their tummies and in their hearts. We want to thank Paul Thompson for providing and allowing us to be his assistants. 

We want to say a big thank you to Massy Stores, HadCo, Sunshine Snacks, Platinum events, Team Vitamin Events, family, and friends, who helped us collect items for families who needed help during this times that's shocking all of us to our core. We collected items such as bread, flour, rice, hygiene products, canned foods, pasta, cleaning products, toys, clothes and so much more.
 

Two Pick Up Vans were filled to the brim! And all 15 families got an equal amount of items accordingly.
We made sure that everyone was wearing their masks and gloves as well as staying six feet apart. All items that were donated were sanitized by the families as well as the MADE volunteers so that we were extra careful. It was a great day. 

we got the pleasure of being apart of a new initiative: a fundraiser for cancer called "sa vo yon" which took place on the 24th of January 2020. whilst meeting artists such as superblue and Blaxx we all ensured that the night went as smoothly as possible for the guests who attended. we hope to work to with them again

St. Dominic’s Children’s Home visit today ❤ We had a lot of fun interacting with the children! They were mostly teenagers and they were very welcoming and enjoyed spending time with us! They are very excited for us to return for another visit

Saturday 9th November 2019, some of our M.A.D.E volunteers visited the TTSPCA to spend time and take care of the animals by bathing some, walking others to name a few. furthermore, we got to help paint some labels for different sections of the shelter. it was a very heartwarming and relaxing day despite its "ruff" challenges.. we can't wait for our next visit

who says homework cant be fun? our volunteers took the task to aid in children under the age of 13 at a local community homework centre in cotton tree st. Anns. it was a two-day adventure, on Monday the 13th October and Tuesday 14th October. it wasnt just work being done as some of the volunteers got some of the kiddies up and active playing basketball. 

it's starting to become a trend that all of us at M.A.D.E wish to continue this partnership ensuring that the ST. Vincent Tea Party and Fashion show is a success. helping in both waitering and modelling. demonstrating a multi-faceted approach to volunteering. it was collective effort thought despite the largest turnout of volunteers as of recent. smiling faces by the guest and overall another unforgettable volunteer programme in the books.

What a day to remember! what a way to start the new volunteer year at M.A.D.E. Another collaborative project in the books. new volunteers came out and got a taste of the "M.A.D.E" way. jokes aside, we worked efficiently, and productive. we picked up an astonishing 40 lbs of garbage, walking away today with a cleaner beach, tons of garbage in bags, new bonds and memories to keep with for life.

we were tasked with assisting the "Just Because Foundation" in their annual event, the H.O.P.E( Have  Only Positive Expectations) concert, which raises money for childhood cancer patients of different ages and stages of treatment.  we were tasked with greeting guests, distributing tickets, ushering guests and assisting the performers on and offstage

On the 26th of May, a group of our volunteers partnered  with 'United Way Trinidad & Tobago' for their " Dare to Care" Campaign where we aided in painting; rooms, windows, gates and prepping kitchen gardening

On the 23rd of September a group of our volunteers went on down to TTSPCA again to help out with some of the animals by washing, walking and playing with them 

On the 15th of September some of our volunteers set out to Caura river with some of the UWI students to participate in the international coastal clean-up 

We headed down to Matura with some of our friends from the UWI student exchange program to participate in the annual Matura beach clean up

On the 12th of December we headed out to up-market to help sell some clothes made by underprivileged kids 

On the 2nd of December we headed out to the princess Elizabeth center for their annual party where we helped with handing out food, playing games with the kids and enjoying a popsicle or 2.

On Saturday the 18th of November we headed out to TTSPCA and helped with the washing, walking, feeding and playing with the amazing cats and dogs that the shelter has managed to rescue.

our members have not only been collecting donations but on Saturday 16th September we headed on over to the warehouse to help organize and transfer some of the supplies in order to help aid Barbuda in the travesty that they are in.

At this fitness event held in Las Cuevas, MADE provided volunteers who helped to set up and run the event ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the participants. We had a blast ourselves and even got to participate in some of the activities. 

On the 25th of June, 2017 we lent our assistance to the Vitas House Hospice in St. James. We spread joy and even sang for the patients!

We've teamed up with the CREDO Foundation's Sophia House to assist the boys there with their homework and further studies and to carry out activities to build skills necessary for their development on a weekly basis.

Our ambassadors, Darriyon Romany and Amanda Jackson, decided to try to tackle the problem of hunger in our society.

They did this by initiating a project which involved making and distributing soup to the many homeless people around Port of Spain.

We assited the "Just Because Foundation" in many of their Smoke Out Tour Sessions.. The purpose of this was to raise public awareness of Paediatric Cancer. Increase the awareness of the dangers of smoking and drug use, the dangers of second hand smoke and emerging info on third-hand smoke. Thankfully, there was a big crowd that was unaware of the consequences and we believe that we changed their lives for the better. 

Embrace was a new initiative that functioned as a peer support group for parents who have lost a child to cancer.
Our mission was to help them to better cope with their tragedy and to heal over time with the support of a 'community' of people who understood. M.A.D.E. TNT volunteers tried their best to put a smile on everyones face, and ofcourse... that was done with FOOD! 

We try to accomodate different areas of Trinidad no matter how far away it is! Volunteers visited and gave a service to the elderly residents at St. Vincent De Paul in south. They love singing and dancing, being read to and just have someone there to have a chat with! Here is a picture of some of the volunteers having a quick meeting to organize who was going to do what at the centre. 

Even on Fridays we like to volunteer! After school we assisted The Living Waters Community with kindly asking people outside of the JTA supermarket in South, to donate food items to hampers for the homeless. Thankfully we got a lot of donations and it was so nice to see how many people wanted to help the less fortunate! 

Seeing how hunger is a serious issue amongst homeless people, we arranged different types of food to put into a massive hamper for the homeless. Step by step we are trying to change the lives of the less fortunate! 

Lady Hochoy is such a well built, organized and fun home to be at! Volunteers were blessed to have the privelage to play with all the sweet and hilarious children! Everyone did running races, sang songs, coloured, played with Ipads, played tag, hula hooped, swang on the swings and made a new friend! We can't wait to visit again! 

We love the elderly, they are so precious, sweet and adorable! MADE volunteers love to spend time with them, just to chat, read books to them, sing songs and go for walks. They're already expecting another visit with a handful of books for storytime! 

Are you seeing how many massive garbage bags there are?! There are 38 bags filled with clothes for men, women and children and 2 bags of toys! Took us a few weeks to collect it, go through and sort them out, but we got the job done! These bags are going to Living Waters where they will be giving it to familes in need and even homeless people! Thank you to all those that donated and the volunteers who helped to sort them out. We surely made a HUGE difference!!

M.A.D.E TNT had an amazing time volunteering and participating at the People's Climate March on the 29th of November! We got goosebumps while singing Trinidad's National anthem standing in the formation of a heart! Those that marched, definitely made a difference!!

It was great to see children and even parents enjoying themselves in old school traditional games. Volunteers of MADE TNT did arts and crafts, had treasure hunts, sang carols and parang, acted as Santas Elves and did much more! It was a wonderful experience to see so much excitement and happy faces. 

We all love that feeling of a happy well fed tummy as well as the feeling of making a HUGE difference! MADE TNT volunteers assisted Living Waters in feeding atleast 500 homeless people that flooded our streets! Their smiles could not have been bigger and they could not have been more grateful! 

What a great way to end the year!! M.A.D.E. TNT assisted Living Waters with entertaining over 700 children by playing exciting yet exhausting games! There was hopscotch, jump rope, tag, football, basketball, face painting, you name it, we did it! We loved taking care of all those sweet children that had such a blast, it was great to see so many smiles and hear all the laughter! 

You know we love spending time with the elderly, learning from them, having a few laughs, making memories and ofcourse making a difference! This is a picture of a volunteer and a resident Dabbing! A common youth trend, a type of dance really.. 

At Lady Hochoy, we don't only spend time with the children but all of the residents there... The bigger the smile, the happier they are. 

On Thursday 30th March the M.A.D.E. TnT South Division payed a visit to the El Shaddai Restoration Home in Buen Adventure, Gasparillo. During they're time there we played tons of fun games like pass the parcel, musical chairs, Tarzan jungle man and board games. From kids ages 7 to teens of 18 years old, all got involved in the number of activities and one could tell that our presence made a difference! We'll definitely be back soon!

Our fourth successful project was giving our time to the Geriatric Home, St. Finbars. We danced, sang songs, read books, took the residents for walks, had a chat and a few good laughs! The humble and genuine residents were very happy and it was fun for all of us! 

This project is on-going as M.A.D.E. TNT volunteers repeat visits to the home.

Our third completed project was volunteering at a Health Fair in Morvant. We coordinated registratio and organized booths that focused on a variety on physical and mental health issues. The event was successful in raising awareness of these issues and giving a free service to those in need of our help. 

Our second project was the repainting and reorganizing the home of a retired music teacher who was considered a hoarder down in Diego Martin. She was so sweet and very grateful for our help as she could not do it herself. 

We have completed our first project which was volunteering at the Slipstream cycling event in Chaguaramas to raise money for the blood bank. We helped set up the event, assist cyclist, give out prizes and clean up after.
